A professor gave a balloon to every student in his class; each had to inflate it, write their name on it and throw it in the hallway. The professor then mixed all the balloons. The students were then given 5 minutes to find their own balloon. Despite a hectic search, no one found their balloon. At that point, the professor told the students to take the first balloon they found and hand it to the person whose name was written on it. Within 5 minutes, everyone had their own balloon.
The professor told the students: “These balloons are like happiness. We will never find it if everyone is looking for their own. But if we care about other people’s happiness, We’ll find ours, too.”
I love stories. I love the wisdom of people who have learned things through their experiences but I have found out it is often getting an education on things you didn’t even know you didn’t know when that information sticks with you. When you are in a crisis, overwhelmed, or have a problem and you do not know who to believe or which fork in the road to take, those positive and negative experiences are always implanted more in our mind because they are emotionally based. People who share their years of experience, what they researched and asked professionals about, what they tried and how it worked out can benefit you. If we help others find their balloon and contribute to their peace and happiness it will contribute back to our own and ultimately the planet.
So here is my wisdom and no-one in my extensive circle, but the person who shared it with me, had ever heard this before exactly this way.
Histamine Food may be causing you to stare into space, struggle to pay attention, struggle to make decisions, second guess the decisions you make, feel tired all the time- not just tired but like your body is dragging huge bags of bricks up and down flights of stairs all day, quick to get angry or feel sad and without hope on other days.
When you eat a high histamine food you may physically experience a running nose, sneezing, sudden congestion or constant congestion (if you constantly consume all of these foods) itchy skin, wanting to rub your eyes, become flushed, acne, bloated, chronic painful joints and muscles, anxiety, cramps, flatulence, diarrhea, dizziness, a hard time regulating your body temperature, and headaches that you excuse as air quality, dust, hormones, that thing that is going around like a stomach bug or just ignore it.
Here is what you didn’t know you didn’t know. You might have heard about nightshade food but do you know anything about histamine intolerance? These are foods high in histamine that cause inflammation and cause slight or serious allergic reactions that upset your physical and emotional well-being.
You cannot have disease without inflammation- so REDUCE INFLAMMATION. Not having inflammation and feeling healthy is like having a magic wand and feeling free of the hindering effects of pain, lethargy and confusion. You can have more energy and feel so much better in a matter of weeks. That is exactly what happened for me! I still almost cannot believe it!
I was in shock when my very advanced and knowledgeable Dr. Courtney Hunt (right here in Scottsdale AZ) told me everything “healthy” I was eating, was causing my body to have off the chart inflammation and a severely high chance of having a stroke even though my heart was strong. I knew too late and I had a stroke, in my eye, that affected my vision earlier this year. This information changed my life for the better BUT I was shocked I never heard about this before!
I thought I was eating healthy. I tell everyone I know about this now and no one yet has ever been informed! The way I feel just 7 months later and 30 plus pounds lighter (pounds that easily came off) is amazing. It is not that hard to do and like Dr Hunt told me if we do not BECOME A WARRIOR about our health we will succumb to everything. Lack of inflammation supports a strong auto immune system more than anything else.
Well you might say you don’t want to be … that person that says I can’t have this or that … questions what is in the food … checking labels etc. … or do you? If you make informed food choices, it will change your life! Would you rather have energy when you wake up in the morning, and eliminate all the symptoms that dictate your day to day life, your happiness and amazingly also actually lose weight? Do you want to prevent debilitating diagnoses and challenges? I did!
